How to Treat Grease Stains the Right Way

Things to Have Ready Before Starting the Process
Before we start into the cleaning, let’s go through everything you’ll need. This way, you can double-check that you have everything you need.

Hoover; kitchen roll or absorbent paper of any kind;
Dish soap, ideally fairy, but any brand would suffice;
talcum powder/baking soda;
a clean towel for cleaning and drying;
Soft cleaning brush; diluted ammonia solution
How to Remove Dried Grease Stains Properly
We’ll start with dried oil stains because they’re commonly overlooked. You never know where your dirty hands have ended up, especially if you have kids. Despite the difficulty, this is how to clean carpets, upholstery, and other fabrics:

Grab some kitchen paper and some hot, soapy water.
Dampen the stain and then use dry, absorbent cloths to remove as much as possible.
It’s now time to use the baking soda. Apply a generous quantity on the stain and let it sit for an hour or so.
It’s time to clean up the mess.
Get some soapy, hot water and a clean cloth to wipe away the excess. After that, let it dry.
There should only be faint remnants of the stain at this stage. It’s time to get your ammonia solution out.
1 tsp home ammonia and 14 cup warm water is recommended.
Begin blotting with a soft cloth. If the cloth isn’t water-resistant, don’t soak it.
Begin cleaning the area with a scrubbing brush, giving little pressure. Take care not to harm the fabric.
That should enough. To rinse the area adequately, use a bowl of clean water and a new, clean towel. Then, using a dry towel, absorb as much moisture as possible.
How to Remove Fresh Grease Stains Properly
Get some paper towels if you were fortunate enough to capture the stain in time. Soak up as much grease as you can, but don’t rub. Cover the area with a paper towel for 20 minutes.
Now liberally sprinkle your baking soda/talcum powder over the discolouration.
Clean up your dry component using a vacuum cleaner.
If there are still remains of the stain, it’s time to break out the dishwashing liquid. Apply a smidgeon to the spill and dab with a moist towel.
Rinse the cloth well and wipe it dry with an absorbent towel.
